| Who
We Are |
|
Background
Headquartered
in Christiansburg, Virginia (USA), Lifeline has grown from a regional ambulance
service to Virginia's largest private ambulance provider. We have
been successful because we have maintained our core beliefs:
extraordinary patient care, customer service, and management. |
 |
Experience
When you
call Lifeline, you are calling a company with providers that have an enormous
amount of experience not only in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), but
also in business, hospital healthcare, customer service, insurance, quality
control, and education. |
|
Technology
Lifeline
utilizes advanced technology in all areas - from the invasive and non-invasive
equipment we use in the field to our centralized computer-aided dispatch
system. We integrate this technology with the human side of patient
care. We go to great lengths to further our position to not only
stay on the cutting edge of patient care and transport, but to develop it. |
 |
Critical
Care / Specialized Care
In addition
to providing the best Advanced Life Support (ALS) care, we also have a
fleet of Specialized Life Support (SLS) ambulances certified on all levels
- Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal. To staff these vehicles, we have
the largest number of Critical Care Paramedics in the state. Critical
Care certification teaches our experienced paramedics to utilize advanced
equipment such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, ventilators, invasive monitoring
devices and lines, and other such equipment found in intensive and critical
care settings. |
 |
Accommodating
We place
great importance on our customers' needs and are able to accommodate most
special requirements or circumstances - whether it is specialized equipment
or assisting a patient during a doctor's visit. In addition to patient
transports, Lifeline is available for first aid and special event stand-bys.
We can also provide in-service training for your facility or group. |
