Information We Need When You Call
When you call our Centralized Communications Center, you will have confidence that our Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD)-trained communications officers are qualified to answer your questions, set up your transport, or respond to your emergency complete with pre-arrival instructions if necessary.

To assist them, here is some of the information you may be asked for a routine or scheduled transport:

  • Date and time of pickup
  • Pickup location and destination
  • Patient's name and age
  • Reason for transport
  • Type of transport (i.e.. routine, emergency, doctor's appointment, fixed-wing, standby, etc.)
  • Special equipment (i.e.. IV, oxygen, ECG, IABP, ventilator, etc.)
  • If patient is bed-confined, why?
